Rehobath Outreach PROGRAM(ROP)

Moving Beyond, Reaching Forth and Impacting

And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Genesis 26:22

STATEMENT OF FAITH

REHOBATH OUTREACH PROGRAM (ROP) is a Christian organization who believes in God, the Father, Jesus Christ His son and the Holy Spirit.

We affirm the historic doctrines of the Christian faith as expressed in the Bible that Jesus was crucified, died and buried and that he rose from the dead the third day.

We believe that he ascended into heaven and that He now sits at the right hand of God, His Father.  We believe He is coming back again to judge both the living and the dead.

We believe that there is heaven and there is hell but there is a way of escape from hell and eternal damnation by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross of Calvary to save all men from their sins.

While here on earth, we strongly believe that we are and that we have been called as God’s representatives or ambassadors of change and hope and to manifest His glory and love in this present world.  As His very words even declare that we should go into all nations preach and teach and make disciples.  We believe in reaching all those we can from everywhere.  We incorporate our community services with that of our faith and Christian principles to serve.

MISSION STATEMENT

Rehobath Outreach Program (ROP) was established to move beyond the church walls, to reach out and help the broken, the lost, the hopeless, the helpless and needy, the sick and afflicted and to restore hope and give meaning to their existence by partnering and networking with other religious organizations, business community and individuals.

We focus on children, teens, adolescents, the family, the elderly and those that are shut in and need special care and assistant but have no means of support to ensure this is done.  We serve people of all races, ethnicities, creeds and gender.

VISION STATEMENT

REHOBATH OUTREACH PROGRAM (ROP) and its partners are committed to building and fostering relationships with others of like interest in an effort to provide charitable service, on ground help-aid service, educational service, counselling service, spiritual development and community development through network.

Serving is what I do best!

The word of the Lord declares in St. Matthew 20:27-28 “And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”
There is joy in serving! There is joy in giving and most of all you fulfill the Master’s will in serving others.

Born to serve!

I remember as a young man growing up in the church my pastor and evangelist would say to me “learn to say no, its not a sin!” Serving is a privilege and an honour for me. I’m inspired by the words recorded in psalm 27:4 which says “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord , and to enquire in his temple.”
